This unique Lancia Fulvia Spyder started life as a Lancia Fulvia Rallye 1.3 Sport when supplied on the 1st August 1969. In 1994 it was converted to a Sport Spyder. Paul Holroyd at Lansdowne Restorations professionally undertook this task. Every modification and fortification has been carried out correctly. The car has Dutch registration plates and, of course, has now been booked as a convertible. The nice and straight bodywork has correctly fitted body panels. The paintwork is really nice and the chrome and other decorative elements have a perfect bright sparkle. The interior has been kept nice and neat. It has a matching black tonneau cover. The good underbody is sound and rust-free. Mechanically the car is in good condition. Over recent years it has been well kempt by Lancia specialist Vere Haarlem. It has a powerful twin Solex carburettor engine. Twice in ’68 and ’69 Zagato developed a convertible. However due to production and financial problems, the car was never brought to market. In the early 80’s one of the prototypes was found and restored. It was said that Zagato himself destroyed the first model. This is without doubt a really extraordinary Lancia with a fantastic look!
