Created by the pencil of designer Ercole Spada for Zagato, this particular car has now become a prestigious collector’s item.

Its avant-garde lines, the unmistakable design, the flair and genius of the Atelier Zagato, which transpires from the cold metal, modelled like a tailor-made suit for this Lancia, make it a car with unique shapes that have inspired several generations of subsequent models.

Made entirely of aluminium, it is today a sporty and brilliant icon of Italian design of those years.

The model we offer for sale is a rare 1,500 cc first series from 1963, produced in only 98 units, in the beautiful and original Rosso Arcoveggio colour.

The Zagato racing seats, a rare optional extra at the time, and the Nardi wooden steering wheel make it a truly unique car.

The car is in excellent condition; the paint is still very bright and shows no signs of blooming, typical of the aluminium used to “dress” the chassis in those years.

The engine, original and factory fitted, has been fully overhauled, with replacement of oils and fluids, spark plugs, complete overhaul of the carburettors and of the entire braking and cooling system. In addition to the invoices for the latest work, there is a logbook showing all the maintenance work carried out.

The car is accompanied by its well-preserved standard interior and original steering wheel, number plates and first registration certificate, as well as the ASI Targa Oro certificate attesting to the matching numbers and its absolute originality.
