Description

The Lancia Flaminia 2.8 3C Cabriolet is one of those rare automobiles that perfectly captures why Italian design stood at the pinnacle of the 1960s. Elegant, understated and mechanically sophisticated, it represents the very essence of Lancia’s golden era.

Completed in March 1967, this example belongs to the highly coveted 826.134 series, the final and most evolved generation of Touring’s Flaminia Cabriolet. With only 180 2.8-litre triple-carburetor examples produced, these Superleggera-bodied cars have rightly become some of the most desirable Flaminia derivatives.

Finished in Gun Grey over red leather, it presents a striking yet tasteful contrast befitting a gentleman’s open GT. The fully restored cabin, with its deep red seats, matching door cards and elegant wood-rimmed steering wheel, highlights the craftsmanship that defined Lancia at the time.

Power comes from the smooth 2.8-litre V6, paired with a manual gearbox — delivering the refined and elastic performance for which Lancia is celebrated. Showing 84,773 km and carrying chassis 8261341099, this Cabriolet remains an authentic late-production example.

The car has benefited from a complete restoration, carried out with respect for originality. Its presentation today is clean and coherent, and an extensive photo album documents the scope and quality of the work performed.

Imported into Belgium in 1992, it has since remained in the hands of enthusiasts who understood its significance. As production of both the Flaminia and Carrozzeria Touring drew to a close, cars like this marked the final chapter of an era when craftsmanship, engineering and design were inseparable.

Refined, beautifully made and increasingly rare, this Flaminia 2.8 3C Cabriolet is a car for those who value subtlety over spectacle — and who recognise the quiet brilliance of Lancia at its peak.
