Seltene HF-Legende in Bestform - der Lancia Fulvia 1600 HF2 von 1972
Lancia steht nicht nur für italienische Haute-Couture und Luxuslimousinen, sondern auch für technische Avantgarde und Rennsport. Die Rallyekarriere der «Marke der Ingenieure» beginnt bereits in den 1950er-Jahren. Für die 1970 frisch eingeführte Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft hat Lancia die Fulvia am Start, die 1972 den Titel gewinnt.
Im selben Jahr wird unser angebotener Fulvia in Verkehr gesetzt. Ein Highlight ist der kleine V4-Motor mit den charakteristischen gelben Ventildeckeln und 1,6 Liter Hubraum. Er hat etwas Eigenes, etwas Überraschendes. Für seine Grösse klingt er erstaunlich, fast wie ein kleiner V8. Und genau dieser Motor macht auch einen der vielen Reize des sehr übersichtlichen Coupés aus. Man sieht sofort, dass das nichts Alltägliches ist. Überhaupt ist die Fulvia etwas für Kenner und für Könner: «A car for anyone who wants a precision motorcar,» schreibt die amerikanische Zeitschrift Road & Track bereits 1967 mit Blick auf die guten Fahreigenschaften.
Die hier angebotene Fulvia präsentiert sich in einem auch technisch ausnehmend gepflegten Zustand. Das Aggregat wird 2002 überholt, was mit einer Rechnung und Fotos belegt ist. Darüber erhält die 2024 letztmals als Veteran vorgeführte Fulvia den letzten Service im Sommer 2025.
Der aktuelle Besitzer, ein Mechaniker, hat die Fulvia 2018 gekauft und nur an ausgewählten Anlässen bewegt. Vor allem aber hat er in dieser Zeit 18 kleinere wie auch grössere Mängel laufend behoben, darunter alle Benzinleitungen und die Benzinpumpe ersetzt sowie den Vergaser überholt. So steht dieser gerade einmal 940 kg leichte Sportler nun für die neue Besitzerin oder den neuen Besitzer bereit.

Lancia has always stood not only for Italian haute couture and luxurious saloons, but also for technical innovation and motorsport excellence. The rallying career of the “engineer’s marque” began as early as the 1950s. When the World Rally Championship was launched in 1970, Lancia entered the Fulvia, which went on to secure the world title in 1972.
The Fulvia offered here was first registered in that very year. One of its highlights is the compact 1.6-litre V4 engine, instantly recognisable by its distinctive yellow cam covers. It has a character all of its own—surprising and unconventional. For an engine of its size, the sound is remarkable, almost reminiscent of a small V8. This unique powerplant is also one of the many charms of the remarkably compact coupé, making it immediately clear that this is anything but an everyday car.
The Fulvia has always been a car for connoisseurs and capable drivers alike. As early as 1967, the American magazine Road & Track described it as “a car for anyone who wants a precision motor car,” praising its outstanding handling.
The example presented here is in exceptionally well-maintained condition, mechanically as well as visually. The engine was overhauled in 2002, documented by invoices and photographs. Following its most recent veteran inspection in 2024, the Fulvia received its latest service in the summer of 2025. The current owner, a trained mechanic, acquired the car in 2018 and has driven it only on selected occasions. More importantly, he has systematically addressed no fewer than 18 minor and major issues during his ownership, including the replacement of all fuel lines and the fuel pump, as well as a full carburettor overhaul.
As a result, this lightweight 940 kg sports car is now fully prepared and ready for its next custodian.
