This 1999 Lamborghini Diablo SV is one of only 100 produced, making it highly collectable. In remarkable condition, this mid-engine rear drive Italian supercar in Super Fly Yellow is a guaranteed head-turner. Heightening the appeal of this car is the plush blue interior and dash, which presents in great condition.

Powered by a 5.7-litre 60-degree V12 engine linked to a five-speed manual transmission and variable valve timing, this car runs fast and furious. The top speed quoted for this model is 328km/hour. For a car of its age, this Diablo is showing low mileage, with only 18,607 miles on the odometer.

This particular model has the original Service Book, Driver's Handbook and Owner's Manual presented in a leather Lamborghini wallet. An investment opportunity not to be missed.

The Diablo carried on Lamborghini's tradition of naming its cars after breeds of fighting bulls. The Diablo was named after a ferocious bull raised by the Duke of Veragua in the 19th century, famous for fighting an epic battle with ''El Chicorro” in Madrid. A feature of Lamborghini was that each engine was completely finished by one person. After the car was finished it was taken out on the road three times - each session around 60 kilometres in length - the test sessions used to modify suspension settings and alter the engine management system if needed. The biggest change externally for the 1999 model was the replacement of the pop-up headlights, with fixed composite lenses.

Another external change was the new design 18-inch alloy wheels and black glass inspired by Bang and Olufsen's Hi-Fi products. The 5.7-litre 60-degree V12 engine linked to a five-speed manual transmission received an update with variable valve timing, lifting power to 394kW while torque was upgraded to 602Nm. Braking was upgraded to ventilated and cross-drilled 14-inch discs up front and 13.2 inch in the rear. The Diablo's body structure is made up of steel rectangular tube, high strength alloy and composite carbon fibre.
