Lamborghini is no stranger to pushing the limits of design and performance. The Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce—or SV—took the Sant’Agata Bolognese manufacturer to new extremes when it made its bow at the 2015 Geneva International Motor Show, revealed as a limited edition model with only 600 slated for manufacture. As the LP750-4 name suggested, the immense power stemming from the Aventador’s V-12 engine was upped further to 750 PS (740 horsepower) and was once again delivered to all four wheels via a single-clutch, paddle-shift gearbox. Revised valve timing and intakes helped the V-12 produce the additional power while still allowing the Lamborghini to scream towards an 8,400 rpm redline.

Compared to the earlier Aventador LP700-4, the Superveloce had been slimmed down by some 50 kilograms, affording the LP750-4 SV an impressive power-to-weight ratio of one horsepower to every two kilograms. This was achieved with liberal application of carbon fibre both inside and outside the supercar, notably installing a reinforced plastic rear wing made from the lightweight material that contributed to markedly improved downforce.

The Aventador LP750-4 SV offered here was delivered new to Lamborghini Lyon on 3 February 2016. Finished in an attractive shade of Rosso Bia over a black interior complemented by red piping and stitching, the Aventador was acquired as a new car by The Road and Track Collection. Over the seven years of ownership, the Lamborghini has been used sparingly, with just 965 kilometres on its odometer at the time of cataloguing. Offered with regular main dealer service history, and ceramic coated in 2022, the supercar was most recently serviced by Lamborghini Lyon in June 2023.
