Description
"The Jensen Healey GT is a variant of the Jensen Healey sports car that was produced between 1975 and 1976. The GT version of the car featured a fastback coupé body style, which gave it a more streamlined and aggressive appearance compared to the standard convertible and hardtop models. The Jensen Healey GT was designed to be a more luxurious and refined version of the standard car, with additional features such as power steering, air conditioning, and leather upholstery. Mechanically, the GT was very similar to the standard Jensen Healey, with the same Lotus 907 engine and four-speed manual gearbox. Unfortunately, the Jensen Healey GT was produced for only a short period of time before the company went bankrupt, and as a result, only a small number of GTs were ever produced
This lovely example is presented in white with a tan interior and has had only a mere three owners in the last 51 years. Its lively two litre Lotus engine is mated to a four-speed manual gearbox and its interior is in wonderful general condition as is its paintwork. This car was the 32nd built of only 218 right hand drive models made. The history file contains old MoT test certificates dating back to 1984 at 48,658 miles and also many invoices going as far back as 1984. The car has just had a major service when the cambelt was replaced and the car was recommissioned after a body restoration.
This example looks superb and today, the Jensen Healey GT is a rare and sought-after collector's item, with many enthusiasts valuing its unique combination of performance, luxury, and style."
