To counter diminishing sales, Jensen presented the shooting brake based on the Jensen Healey in September 1975. Unfortunately, even with this attractive new model a bankruptcy could not be avoided and by May 1976 only 511 examples had been assembled. This Jensen with right hand drive and optional folding roof was first registered in the UK on the 9th January 1976 and imported into Switzerland in 2007. Towards the end of 2021 the 2-door hatchback was taken over by the vendor and added to his collection. Due to lack of time, he has now decided to pass on his exotic GT to a new owner. The Jensen is in good, original condition. The two litre Lotus engine with twin overhead camshafts provides 144 hp and, with its 5-speed gearbox, guarantees rather rapid progress. The last veteran MOT was completed in October 2021.
