- Imported form United States when new, in 1987, it is the smaller sister of the Grand Wagoneer, and offers, in a more compact and agile size the same luxury equipment and fake wood sides in typical Yankee taste. Imported from the United States into Italy when new in 1987, original logbook showing 9 owners. Having been ordered for the European market, its instrumentation is in km/h and temperature in centigrade. Manual gearbox.
- Typical dove grey colour with sides decorated in imitation wood film, beige interior in leather and velvet, long pile carpeting, the Wagoneer has all the elements of the leisure car made in the USA. Preserved bodywork, which recently underwent a complete re-polishing. Replaced all front and rear lights with original parts, replaced door seals and glass with new parts. Damaged and discoloured old wood-effect film removed and replaced with a new 3M film with the same original effect. Conservative restoration of seats and interior that are in excellent condition. Equipped with air conditioning, electric seats, alloy wheels and all other limited equipment.
- Mechanics totally overhauled and tuned, cylinder head rebuilt, camshaft replaced; the car has travelled about 160,000 km from new. Ignition and injection system completely overhauled. New shock absorbers and central exhaust, and new tyres. Air conditioning system currently updated to use gas, new radiators and compressor overhauled as the spare is no longer available. Car ready for use, with current MOT.
- With the Wagoneer, Jeep created the segment of luxury off-road vehicles, premium SUVs, anticipating the Range Rover by a good 7 years, the XJ version, more compact than the Grand Wagoneer (4.2 m) extends this concept of luxury off-road vehicles to a dimension closer to the tastes of the European market. Lightweight (weighing less than 1,400 kg) and agile, the version powered by the almost 180 hp inline 6-cylinder engine is one of the rarest and most sought-after vehicles, given the few units equipped with this robust and powerful engine. The traction is very refined, with the possibility of travelling in 2WA, AWD, 4X4, 4X4 with reduction gears, rear self-locking differential, switching from one traction scheme to another even while driving, it has nothing to envy from a modern 4-wheel drive car. This model also has the rare 5-speed manual gearbox that matches the powerful torque delivered by the 6-cylinder engine.
