Description

"The XK8 is a grand tourer car that was launched in 1996 and was the first generation of a new XK series available in both coupé and convertible body styles and with the new 4.0 litre Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. The 1998 XKR was introduced with a supercharged version of the engine. Both the XK8 and XKR are electronically limited to a maximum of 155mph; the top speed of its predecessor, the XJS V12, being 158mph. A navigation system and self-levelling xenon headlamps came as standard with the XKR with Jaguar's adaptive cruise control as an optional feature available on both models. Both come with all leather interior, burr walnut trim and side airbags. Jeremy Clarkson, during a Top Gear test drive, likened the interior of the original XK8 to sitting inside Blenheim Palace.
This lovely convertible example of this desirable model is presented in the best colour combination of metallic blue with Ivory leather interior and comes with a full service history. Its wonderful interior has Recaro memory seat and a Jaguar satellite navigation unit and it also comes with a new stainless steel exhaust and 20 inch Detroit wheels which have been refurbished and shod with new tyres. In fabulous condition and with the added benefit of being a convertible, this No Reserve Jaguar represents the very best of British at an affordable price, powered by the mighty four litre V8 which is so smooth and powerful.
