Description
"Jaguar cars today are designed in Jaguar Land Rover's engineering centres at the Whitley plant in Coventry and Gaydon in Warwickshire, whilst manufacturing takes place in Jaguar's Castle Bromwich assembly plant in Birmingham. The Jaguar XK series was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show on 5th March 1996; the first generation of the series being the XK8 which replaced the XJS and was available as a coupé and convertible. It was the first eight-cylinder vehicle produced since the Daimler 250. The XK8 came with 17 inch alloy wheels, leather interior, Burr Walnut trim and side airbags as standard.
This lovely XK8 is offered in metallic slate grey with complementary beige leather interior and Classic walnut trim, the car is sat on 20 inch refurbished alloy wheels with new Dunlop SportMaxx tyres. Our vendor jests that the previous keeper to him must have had shares in the local Jaguar dealership, this is one of the reasons he was so keen on purchasing this car and the no expense spared history file. The car comes optioned with keyless entry and is accompanied by a good history folder which includes the original purchase order, old MoT test certificates and invoices, coupled with an MoT test certificate valid until August 2019. The XK8, with that evocative Jaguar V8, has much of the XKR pace but without the larger bills. This is a fabulous motorcar, in great condition and can be purchased for a modest outlay."
