This is a beautiful Jaguar XK8 convertible with a properly driving and beautiful sounding 4.0L 24v V8 engine. Year of manufacture 2001, it’s a 20-year-old modern classic. Originally from the US, VAT and import duties have been paid. Odometer reading 86,800 miles, the periodic inspection is valid until the end of July 2022.

This XK8 drives very well. The electric soft-top is brand new and works well. This convertible spent the first 4 years in the USA and was then imported in Europe in 2005. Regularly maintained, the last service was in June 2021, the known areas mentioned in the periodic inspection have been addressed, lights and the water cooling system have been replaced. This convertible runs weekly, just for a drive, and on weekends. The car is well maintained and is in a shaded and covered garage. The car is fine to drive on a daily basis, but also suitable as a beautiful collector’s item. The model is strikingly beautiful and much loved by sports car fans.

The leather interior is in beige. The front seats and the rear bench are full-leather and in good condition with signs of age. The driver's seat has had a minor repair, caused by getting in and out. Both front seats are comfortable, the electronic adjustment does not work properly. A new device has already been purchased to fix it. The wooden dashboard and steering wheel shine and are in good condition. The sound system is good and guarantees a nice sound whilst driving. Electrics such as lighting, indicators, air conditioning and other dashboard gauges all work well. Small things such as the handbrake and passenger sun visor need to be repaired / replaced.

The black paintwork is very shiny without wear, there’s only one small scratch which is easy to cover / repair. The chassis has no rust and is in good condition. As mentioned, the convertible is from 2001 and has signs of wear and age, improvements are of course always possible. The soft-top, tyres and rims all look like new.
