Description
"Nostalgia Cars were formed in 1999 and are based in Creech St Michael near Taunton. They produce predominately replicas of Jaguars, in particular XK120’s, XK140’s and C-Types. Self-build is an option or you can order a car and they will build it for you.
This example was a self-build kit, however the original purchaser of the kit did not have enough time or expertise to finish the project. The vendor, who has spent all of his life in the motor industry took over the project and completed it to a high standard. The donor car was a 1972 registered Daimler 4.2, although the engine in this Nostalgia is a later type fuel injected unit offering better reliability. This is mated to an automatic gearbox making this Jaguar XK140 replica easy to drive. The Old English White paintwork is to an exceptionally high standard particularly taking into account the bodywork is fibreglass. The beige leather trim complements the coachwork as does the chrome. This car is supplied with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until January 2021. Offering classic car aesthetics with later mechanics, this XK140 replica is a great combination."
