Description

Constructed on October 28, 1949, this alloy-bodied Jaguar XK120 Roadster was, according to its JDHT Certificate, only the 19th example built. Finished in Pastel Blue with a two-tone blue interior, the left-hand-drive Jaguar was delivered to Hoffman Motors in New York, where it was sold to its first owner, believed to be Ralph Mason Sr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The second owner, Christian Nannen of Germany, acquired the Jaguar from Mr. Mason’s widow in the early 1990s and shipped it to Europe. Between 1992 and 1994, a complete restoration was performed by Egon Weber, a Hamburg-based Jaguar and Aston Martin specialist. The next known registered owner was Vic Jacobs of Dayton, Ohio, who retained the car until his passing in 2008. Tony Vincent purchased this lovely XK120 Alloy Roadster in 2010, and it has been in his careful custodianship since.

This splendid XK120 is offered with a substantial documentation file that includes a JDHT Certificate, original titles, importation and transport documents, restoration receipts, and photos of the car in its “as discovered” condition in the early 1990s. Additionally, the car is accompanied by side curtains, a jack, and a tool roll, as well as factory literature. The alloy-bodied XK120s are eligible for countless driving events and the most prestigious concours, and their beautiful, sleek lines are very appealing to everyone. Rarely does one come across such a lovely Alloy Roadster presented in its desirable original color, warranting your serious consideration.
