“Green over Tan” is just the way a British car should look, and it doesn’t get much more British than this straight-six powered Jaguar XJS. This car was made for nothing less than aristocratic cruising. To cruise wonderfully and effortlessly at speed, in the lap of luxury is its hallmark. You would be hard put to find a better car fitting the above requirements. Over the years the car has been very well maintained and remains in exceptional condition. The lovely bodywork has straight and correctly aligned panelwork. The brightwork is also in fine fettle. The good quality green finish only has a few minor blemishes. The beige coloured hood contrasts nicely against the green paintwork. The hood is in good shape and fits neatly. The alloy rims are also in fine shape. On the inside, this Jaguar has been kept neat showing just a few signs of expected normal wear. The car’s luxurious features won't disappoint either with its climate control, a trip computer, good quality radio and wooden Nardi steering wheel. The XJS has a 4 litre (V12) (straight-six) attached to its 4-speed automatic transmission. The smooth running engine produces that characteristic straight-six roar. The gear change is as smooth as can be. Various invoices confirm the good care lavished on this XJS over the years. Unfortunately, the original car wallet was lost by the previous owner. This car more than fulfils the level of driving expected in an XJS. Only a few were fortunate enough to be able to afford an XJS originally. Over thirty years later and XJS has become a lot more affordable without losing any of its appeal and quality.
