We have a stunning 1991 Jaguar XJS Convertible which has been directly obtained from its first owner with only 28861 miles on the clock. The car is in excellent condition having always been well tended for.

The paintwork looks great and is almost completely unmarked. The original panelwork is in very good shape. The shut lines are correct and the panels are nice and thin. The bumpers too line up perfectly. The car has its original rims that are too in very good shape. The convertible hood is of course electrically operated, opening and shutting perfectly. Naturally a neat tonneau is there to cover the hood for those days when it can stay stowed.

Inside there is as you would expect a sea of leather and burr walnut wood. The interior seems pristine, you would really need a strong light to be able to detect any signs of wear. Even the seat bolsters are free of damage. The gauges and switches all work properly. This British convertible has been fitted with everything you could wish for. It has cruise control, air-conditioning, a trip computer, electric windows and mirrors as well as heated seats.

The engine is of course the focal point of this car. This Jaguar XJS has the well known and very much adored V12 engine. This engine develops 263 Ps and is attached to a 4-speed automatic. The engine runs as smooth as silk and always has ample torque available thanks to the fact three cylinders are always in the same power stroke; there is nothing like the suppleness of a V12. The very well maintained braking system and suspension contribute in no mean way to the Jaguar’s delightful driving characteristics. The car is mechanically as fine as it looks and ready to tour the open roads.

In short this is a stunning Jaguar XJS Convertible with the best possible engine for such a gorgeous open top car; the V12!
