JAGUAR XJ6 SOVEREIGN 4.2 (1983) CHASSIS N°: SAJJCALP4CC350682, ENGINE: XK 6 IN LINE, DOHC, DISPLACEMENT: 4,235 CM3, POWER: 205 bhp, LEFT HAND DRIVE. Jaguar Cars has been able to build a real myth with its motor cars which managed to have sporting performance and luxury finish. Perhaps their most successful model was the XJ saloon, launched in 1968 and developed until the end of the 1980s. This model, based on the fabulous six-in-line and later the V12 was once considered the best car in the world and surely Sir William Lyons’ masterpiece. The car we are offering today is a Third Series, which had been modernised with the help of Pininfarina and received new energy-absorbing bumpers, flush handles and a new line of the glasshouse, which practically turned it into a new car. It is in good conditions having always been cared for by its owner, who decided to sell it as he is not driving it enough. It is a most elegant Jaguar saloon offered in good conditions at a very reasonable price. This vehicle is in excellent mechanical condition but for safety reasons, we advise the purchaser to have it checked over and to replace the fluids, filters and perishable elements.
