Description

JAGUAR XJ12 SEDAN (XJ40) OF 1993 (only 1,565 units manufactured of the XJ12).

A year before the production of XJ40 was finished, the XJ12 models was introduced at the Auto Show in Amsterdam in February of 1993.
These were powered by a 6.0-liter version of the Jaguar V12 engine. This was coupled to a GM 4L80E 4-speed automatic gearbox. It could be identified with the XJ12 badge or Double Six on the back and a V12 emblem in the glove box. The XJ12 used the two pairs of dual headlights, and a gold "growler" badge on the top of the radiator grille, while the Daimler received the rectangular headlights. The first cars used stainless steel window frames, in the later vehicles they were changed to black. ONLY 1,565 UNITS OF THE EXCLUSIVE XJ12 WERE MANUFACTURED ON A TOTAL OF 208,733 UNITS OF THE XJ40. This unit is in a fabulous state of conservation.
