The SS100 is the first Jaguar in the history of the British brand. It was produced from 1935 by the brand then called SS Cars. With a sporting vocation, it will be built only to 300 specimens making it a relatively rare car. The company of the time changed its name after the Second World War and produced the XK series from 1948. The SS100 is therefore the forgotten little car of the cat manufacturer that is now being revived thanks to the various replicas made by enthusiasts.

Our example of the day is based on a 1979 Ford Consul chassis with the 2.8L V6, one of the most robust of the group. A 5 speed manual gearbox has been installed for more comfort. Very close in appearance to a genuine SS100, our example is as much a head turner as the original."
