Italian title
Chassis No 18019

- Stunning restoration, major emphasis on the authenticity
- One of the first SS100 produced
- Illustrious and limited amount of owners

This particular car is one of the first SS100 produced: the seventh to be precise. It was delivered in June 1936 in England to a Mrs Agnew in Northumberland and was registered as CS 4100. It was in "Nile Blue '' colour with light blue leather upholstery and had two more British owners before being exported in 1965 into sunny California, acquired by Gunther Shirley from Los Angeles. This car was then found in Canada in 1989 and around 1990, it returned to Europe into the Koelliker collection in Milan. Mr. Koelliker was a Jaguar / Mitsubishi importer and had a full restoration carried out under the authority of the late David Barber, who was then an expert in this field. During that time, the car had been equipped with a post-war 3.5-litre engine fitted during its existence but, due to authenticity concerns, a 2.5-litre engine block was found on a pre-war SS100 and an engine replacement was therefore carried out by David Barber. After this restoration, this car successfully took part in the classic Mille Miglia event and the Louis Vuitton Concours d'Elegance at Bagatelle in 1992, before being sold in 2012 to a particularly demanding Italian collector.

As a true example of the sporty roadster of the 1930s with its long bonnet, its sleek wings, its two large headlights enclosing a compact grille and the deep sound of its 6-cylinder engine, this stunningly restored car has a major emphasis on its origins and emanates speed and freedom. Its "100" name says it all, meaning that it has a top speed of "100 mph", equivalent to 160 km/h: a brilliant performance for its era.
