Description
This imposing Jaguar limousine, one of only 2’016 examples of the more powerful M-version with left hand drive, was delivered to the Belgium importer in Brussels on the 10th January 1955 and registered for the first time in July of the same year. In 1975 the Jaguar was imported into Germany and stored for many years. Originally painted battleship grey with a grey leather interior the Mark VII was restored at great expense between 1989 and 1992 and finished in the colour combination currently shown. In 2012 the Jaguar was taken over by the vendor and imported into Switzerland. In 2014, around 1’500 kilometres ago, the matching numbers engine received an overhaul. Receipts as well as a detailed photographic documentation for the work are available. Currently the majestic limousine present herself with a rare steel sliding roof and is in good condition with the interior showing a light patina. The engine is running faultlessly and the four-speed gearbox with Overdrive is shifting smoothly. The last veteran MOT was completed in September 2012.
