This Jaguar MK.II 3.8L was put into service in 1963, in Great Britain. It was acquired by Monsieur Ravisse in 1991, the latter thus led an almost complete restoration of the car towards the end of the 1990s. Today, the car is in a beautiful state of old restoration, the English green paint, carried out in 1999 still looks good and shows that the car is particularly healthy. The interior with beige leatherette seats is in good general condition and has new carpets. Only the woodwork would require a renovation of their varnish, these not showing any break. From a mechanical point of view, many expenses were recently incurred for the restarting of the Jaguar, including an overhaul of the carburetion, ignition, cooling system, braking system and running gear suspensions. Everything was done by Classic Affairs in Bourron Marlotte. The car is thus in good working order, but reliability remains to be expected in order to be able to drive serenely to the rhythm of the 6 cylinders.
This sporty sedan is therefore an interesting model, a car eligible for the biggest rallies and which requires only a little attention to regain all of its period performance!
