With its left hand drive and automatic gearbox, this beautiful Jaguar saloon, with its much sought-after 3.8 litre twincam six, was first registered in Germany on the 1st of July 1963 and exported to France in the 90s. There the Mark 2 was restored for a collector in Paris and at this time received a power steering conversion as well as a stainless-steel exhaust system. The black paint finish together, with the elegant red leather interior, provides this sporting saloon with a timeless and beautiful appearance. In October 2021, the car was taken over by the vendor and imported into Switzerland. During preparation for the Swiss MOT, it was discovered that, in order to comply with the stringent cosmetic requirements for a “Veteran status”, the floor section would need to be cosmetically improved. The car is in good technical condition with the latest MOT completed in March 2023.
