Trade-in car. This 1973 series 2 convertible belonged to Mr. Jack Barber, its one and only owner. This is a superbly original and unrestored ‘Black Plate’ Californian E-Type! We rarely get to see such a well-preserved example these days. Although dull, the paintwork is still of a good quality. The solid underbody has no significant rust formation. The interior trim is all there and has a wonderful patina. The blue/blue colour combination is the original; factory livery. The engine runs and the car drives but considering the lack of use over the last 24 years we would certainly advice that full and thorough servicing and maintenance would not be amiss. You really can not class this as a proper restoration as the car’s condition is far to good. A lot of love, care and attention is what we believe is all that is called for!
