This Jaguar E-Type Roadster Series II 4,2L was launched in October 1970, in the United States, obviously in California. We find it there in 1994, owned by Mr. Herbert Myers, the car had then 46 779 miles on the odometer. Upon its arrival in France in the 2010s, acquired by Mr. Danglade, the Jaguar comes out of restoration and appears under a beautiful red paint. It was registered as a collector's item in 2015 and was then acquired by its current owner. He had the front axle overhauled as it had minor play, the car had 54,500 miles on the clock. Since then, its current owner used it in the countryside of Lyon only when the weather was good, so that it now has only 55,500 miles on the clock. However, the car was started and warmed up at least once or twice a month, even when it was not on the road. Today, this Jaguar E-Type Roadster is in a superb presentation condition. The glossy red paint is very nice, the window alignments are very good, the chromes are in excellent condition, up to the tips of the wheels. The interior, although old, is in a nice aesthetic condition, the leathers are beautiful, the dashboard has no particular defect and the steering wheel is in very good condition. The soft top is in good general condition, it is waterproof despite a slight defect in its angle, at the connection with the door. Mechanically, the E-Type starts without any problem and quickly takes a stable idle. Mechanically, the whole car works normally. The running gear, its mountings and silentblocks seem recent.
