This vehicle has had an extensive restoration to as new condition in 2018-2019 and has not yet been driven since being rebuilt.
Originally a LHD US spec car, notable changes that were made whilst being restored were the RHD conversion and triple carburettor to European specification.
Restored to its original colour combination the beautiful British racing green with the perfectly suited Beige/tan interior, black leather dashboard and a wooden steering wheel. Completely new wiring harness, rebuilt instrumentation, new mohair hood, new chrome all round, new glass including windscreen, new body seals fitted all round.
Front & rear suspension refreshed and set up correctly with all other major suspension components being stripped, cleaned powder coated or electro-plated and then reassembled ready to be fitted back onto the shell. New steering rack, mountings, brake components, fuel lines and fuel tank.
Engine & gearbox has been completely overhauled with 9-1 compression ratio. Including all new stainless-steel manifold & exhaust system, clutch, water pump, alternator, radiator, hoses, washer bottle, wiper system.
In short, a very complete Jaguar E-Type Cabriolet that is completely ready for its new owner.
