1965 JAGUAR E-TYPE 4.2 LITER SERIES 1 ROADSTER:

According to the accompanying Heritage certificate, this numbers matching E-Type was dispatched from the factory on May 20th, 1965 and sold through Jaguar Cars of New York.

This E-Type is a matching numbers example that has been collector owned for quite some time. It received a no expense spared restoration in the 1990s by Jaguar specialists, Mill Lane Engineering of Surrey, England. Upon completion, this E-type was the cover car and subject of a road test for the June 1994 Classic and Sports Car magazine.

The previous owner purchased the E-type in 2003 and has enjoyed every moment of its ownership. Always maintained and serviced regardless of cost, this E-Type has always been cared for properly.

Recently, this E-Type has received a complete servicing from Autosport Designs, Inc. The servicing included all fluids and filters, rebuilding the carburetors, rebuilding the air conditioning with new condenser and update to R134a, new fuel pump and filter, new clutch, rechromed front bumpers, new interior, new convertible soft top and the fresh, brand new interior and trunk compartment.

A recent road test attests to the car performing flawlessly in every way, and it is indeed ready for immediate use and enjoyment. Included with the sale are all recent service records, documented restoration records, tool kit, jack, wheel hammer, spare wheel and its Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate.
