This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .1963 Jaguar E-Type Series I OTS for restoration.

This is an aborted restoration project which includes many new parts (see photos). Manufactured in January 1963 according to its chassis numbers. It is the LHD version.

The vehicle was complete, but it was disassembled in order to restore it. There are only two important missing parts: it has no front bonnet and the engine currently fitted is a 4.2, although originally it was a 3.8 engine with 3 carburettors.

The vehicle was fully disassembled and the bodywork was sandblasted to begin the restoration. Many new parts have been bought at Limora and Moss:

In addition to these parts, some works have been done to the bodywork, but there is still much to finish. The car has the convertible hood structure in good condition.
*PLEASE NOTE: The bodywork belongs to the Series I model, but the rear part was changed to fit Series II lights under the bumpers. From the inside of the bodywork it is possible to see this change, which is easy to revert.

The vehicle is roughly complete. There might be some small part missing, as the car was for restoration, but it is overall complete. There are no vehicle documents available.

The car is located in Toledo, Spain.
