The Jaguar XKE is arguably the one of the most beautiful cars ever designed. This example has only 77,151 actual miles from new. It is powered by a 4.2 Litre 6-cylinder engine with 4-Speed manual gearbox. It has the original ProtectoPlate with dated card and a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate attesting to its originality. This piece of automotive artwork is in great condition inside & out. A gorgeous E-Type roadster in fabulous colors, this Jaguar presents very well and is sure to please even the most discerning eye. Fully serviced and ready to go. This XKE is a chance to acquire an automotive icon and an absolute Blue-Chip collectible that can be driven, shown and admired for years to come, this E-Type will be a fabulous addition to any collection. Legend has it that when it went on display for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, none other than Enzo Ferrari remarked that the E-type known as the XKE in the U.S. was the most beautiful car he\'d ever seen. Mr. Ferrari knew a pretty car when he saw one and he might have been one of the first to express the sentiment, but an incalculable number of others have said virtually the same thing and they\'re still saying it fifty years later. Designed by a noted aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer, the E-type was meant to cheat the wind, but its glass covered headlights, long hood, short rear deck and compound curves also coincidentally looked great.
