We have sourced an absolutely unique 1988 HMMWV M998 6.2 V8 ‘Cargo/Troop carrier! This ‘High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle is more commonly known as a Humvee. This is not be confused with the civilian version based on this M998, the Hummer H1. Specially developed for the US army, production started in 1979. This Humvee has a 6.2 V8 diesel engine has in excess of 500 Nm of torque. This one started life as a cargo and troop carrier without winch. It can climb a 60% hill and 40% with maximum load and run through 76 cm water without the need for a snorkel. This particular 4-man vehicle has an open top and no doors. It has two new 24 V batteries fitted. What makes this non-civilian version stand out is that it comes with a valid road registration papers! It is utterly indestructible and uniquely placed for advertising, promotional purposes or a classic rally!
