  • On top of this the car has had a full clear wrap by Auto Wax Works - Bicester Heritage (£8,000.00), Red Dot number plates and a USA rear-diffuser (£675)
  • Put simply, this is incredible value for money at this estimate and in this particular specification for what is, essentially, a barely run-in supercar!

When the original NSX made its debut in 1989, it forever changed the supercar segment by offering dramatic 'supercar' styling, performance and dynamics and breaking new ground in terms of quality, ergonomics and usability. In November 2007, Honda announced plans to launch a NSX successor by 2010, based on the styling of the front V10-engined Acura ASCC (Advanced Sports Car Concept).Despite prototypes being tested for production, just a year later, Honda announced that plans had been cancelled due to the poor economic conditions. Instead, in March 2010 Honda unveiled the HSV-010 GT for participation in the Japanese Super GT Championship. This car never reached production as a road-legal car. Reports that Honda was again developing a successor to the NSX re-emerged in April 2011 and in December of that year it was official as they announced a second-generation NSX concept which was unveiled the following month at the 2012 North American International Auto Show for sale in 2016.Unlike the original car which was manufactured in Japan, the new NSX was designed and engineered in Marysville, Ohio ay Honda's plant, led by Chief Engineer, Ted Klaus. The new NSX is a hybrid sports car powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 and three electric motors, two of which form part of the "SH-AWD" all wheel drive system, altogether producing almost 600bhp. Fitted with a 9-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission, the NSX will arrive at 60mph in just 3 seconds on its way to 191mph. An astonishing car in its looks, performance, handling and its overall civility.

This is an amazing UK-supplied, right-hand drive, second generation NSX with 2,600 miles in the careful hands of its one and only owner. This car cost our vendor £162,645 when he ordered it new in 2017 and the specification is incredible. It's finished in Andaro Valencia Red Pearl with Semi Aniline full leather heated seats, Black Alcantara signature Internal Sport Pack, interwoven machined wheels, Carbon-ceramic discs with red callipers, the Technology Pack and a car cover.

Upon taking delivery, a further £8,000 was spent on a full clear wrap which was done by Auto Wax Works, based at Bicester Heritage. The vendor also had a private plate during his ownership so a further £675 was spent on fitted Red Dot registration number plates and USA-style rear diffuser.

This special example has always been serviced by Honda Chiswick, and the last service was carried out in July 2020. Accompanied by all the manuals, invoices etc, a fresh MOT will also be issued in time for the sale.

Put simply, this is utterly incredible value for money at this estimate in our opinion for what is, essentially, a barely run-in modern supercar at half-price!
