History: Built by Group Racing Developments (GRD) in 1975, it bears the chassis number of a ’73 car: the GRD 373-047-F3 was supplied to the Swedish team Hans Wängstre in the same year to allow the driver to use it Ingvar Carlsson. The car was however destroyed in an accident in April 1975

Wängstre sold the damaged original monocoque to the Norwegian driver Dick Berg who had it restored as the original 373

In any case, Wangstre commissioned GRD to use parts of the original car on a new monocoque and to send it back to Sweden with the original chassis number, thus avoiding customs duties. The car returned to Sweden in the autumn of 1975 and was used in 1976 by a young Stefan Johansson, who drove it in the Swedish championship and in various races around Europe. The driver won the British Formula 3 title in 1980, ushering in a successful career that allowed him to land in Formula 1. Storia: Costruita da Group Racing Developments (GRD) nel 1975, porta il numero di telaio di un’auto del ’73: il GRD 373-047-F3 fu fornito al team svedese Hans Wängstre nel medesimo anno per consentirne l’utilizzo al pilota Ingvar Carlsson.
