CONDITION

This 1979 GMC Sierra Classic "S" Code is a powerful, stylish, and tastefully modified pickup with just 70,997 original miles. The rebuilt and blueprinted 454 V8 delivers strong performance, and the 3.73 rear gears offer smooth highway cruising. The orange-on-orange color scheme makes a bold statement, and the body sits lowered 4 inches for added appeal. While the truck runs great and drives well, there are some minor imperfections: wiper switch issue (wipers come on intermittently), cruise control not working, slight throttle hesitation on initial input (may need carb rebuild), windshield chip (repaired), some sap marks and light orange peel on paint, tailgate paint mismatch, one missing beauty ring, and wind noise from driver's window. One small spot of filler detected behind RH rear wheel. Despite these minor quirks, this truck is mechanically sound and visually impressive.
