The Ford Crown Victoria appeared in 1955. This one dating from 1956 is one of few versions with the "Glasstop skyliner". This version of the model indeed featured a partially covered glass roof, giving it a very exclusive design and look. It seems that just 603 units of this type were ever built. It is powered by a 272 V8 engine (4.4-liters), which is decked out with its aluminum rockers cover painted black, like for the first Ford Thunderbird. The car received a fabulous restoration, certified by the condition in which it is presented. Mechanicals, paint and upholstery are in a state that can be described as concours, even the carpet in the boot area is in perfect condition. The color combination of turquoise blue and white is both on the body and the interior. Among the equipment we note the presence of air conditioning, electric seats, a vintage radio, and additional lamps on the wings, manually adjustable and fog lamps. The car has a US registration and is customs cleared in Europe. An original way of driving in Europe in the American way of life.
