Although connoisseurs believe that the Ford Mustang of the first generation is more beautiful. The second-generation Mustang Ford Mustang Mach 1 is the car everyone thinks of when they think of a true pure muscle car from the 1970s. This example was delivered new in the United States and has been fully restored and overhauled in the recent past. The car is therefore in beautiful condition and looks like it could be beaten. The car has been restored to its former glory with a great eye for originality and is an absolute pleasure to drive.

The body has been reduced to bare metal and repaired where necessary before the car was repainted in its original livery. The bumpers and wheels have also been completely renewed and also look beautiful. The paint is of course in top condition and is completely free of damage or signs of use. The car also got new "window louvres" and all stickers were renewed. The overall picture does not lie. The Mustang is one lump of sportiness and it radiates that. Competition Yellow is perhaps the best colour for a car of this type.

The interior has been completely reupholstered with only original parts. The carpets fit perfectly and are of high quality. The seats have been reupholstered with original vinyl and are also neatly cared for. The upholstery on the dashboard and the accompanying wood inlay has been largely renewed and reupholstered and also look like they can be pulled through a ring. The instruments and controls look beautifully cared for and function as they should. The car was also fitted with new headlining during the restoration and the door panels were also reupholstered.

The technology has been overhauled from front to back. The engine has been taken apart until the last screw, as well as the transmission. The entire chassis has been renewed, as have the brakes and associated parts. The car got a new wiring harness and a new exhaust. It will therefore not surprise you that the car's beautiful looks are substantiated by delicious driving behaviour and superb road holding. The 5.8-litre V8 engine produces 300 hp and is mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers a tremendous amount of torque from the lower rev range and only seems to get more powerful with the revs up. The soundtrack provided by the engine is unparalleled and sounds like a true symphony of 8 world-class tenors.

The work is well documented through a photo series and beautifully reflects the transformation of the car.
