San Jose, California, USA, that's where it all began for this beautiful Ford Mustang. Built on the assembly line in San Jose and handed over to the first owner at the dealership in the same district. It was just the beginning of a pleasant, comfortable life for this original Seafoam Green Mustang Convertible.

A '68 Mustang is an iconic car. In those years, the Mustang was immensely popular, and dealers were selling cars faster than they could get new ones supplied. So the first owner of this Mustang must have been overjoyed when he heard that his car was ready for collection.
The man had taste, as evidenced by the very fresh colour combination of light green paint with black vinyl trim. It sill looks exactly the same fifty-five years later. A sight to behold, thanks in part to its vibrant colour. The paintwork is in great condition, although there are some minor signs of use here and there. For example, a small paint chip on the edge of a door, but there are no significant damages worth mentioning. The overall condition can be described as sound, and the bodywork is in a tidy state. The chrome work, mouldings, and lighting components are all in similar spruce condition.

The black interior is also in a neat state. Looking through the steering wheel, you'll notice the abundance of gauges: two large ones for the essential information, with smaller ones in between and on the sides for other details. That's all a person needs, right? The dashboard looks very original and unblemished. The seats and upholstery are remarkably well-maintained, and the comfortable seats provide a pleasant place to inhabit. When you take the wheel and put the automatic three-speed transmission in "drive," you'll feel like you're in America. In case the weather is less favourable for driving with the top down, when closed, it's evident that the convertible top is in good condition.

If you open the substantial bonnet, you'll see the powerful 302 cubic inch V8 engine, in this case, equipped with a four-barrel setup. It is paired with the C-4 automatic transmission. It produces 230 horsepower and, combined with this transmission, offers an incredibly comfortable driving experience. The eight-cylinder engine runs smoothly, and you never have to wonder if it's running or not: the delightful V8 burble is always present, burbling subdued in the background during calm driving and pleasantly audible when you accelerate.

As you can see, the undercarriage is also in a fresh state without any issues, both in the visible parts and the less easily visible ones. The underlying technology, such as suspension, exhaust, axles, and the 3.00:1 standard differential, is in a condition that guarantees a lot of driving pleasure.

In summary, this Mustang features a rare colour combination and is in excellent condition, ready to be enjoyed to the fullest.
