Ford Mustang 289ci Code A 1966 – air conditioning – superb condition – carefully maintained – 12-month warranty

This Ford Mustang (’66 model) was delivered in California in September 1965, where it spent its first four decades in the sun before being imported to Europe at the end of 2008.

It was acquired by the current owner in 2009, still fitted with its California plates. The car was already in very good condition and had been carefully maintained.

Rare in this “Ivy Green” color, the car features its 289ci Code A V8 engine, available in the catalog only in 1965 and 1966, with its original 4-barrel carburetor (FoMoCo).
Unusually, this Mustang comes with factory-optioned air conditioning (compressor and condenser currently removed but included with the car).

Major mechanical work was carried out in 2010, including resurfacing and gasket replacement of both cylinder heads, installation of a dual exhaust system (H-Pipe), and electronic ignition. Since then, a new fan has been installed, the carburetor gaskets have been replaced, the fuel pump has been changed, and the entire ignition system has been overhauled.

This Ford Mustang is in superb overall condition and has been properly maintained. The technical inspection was just completed and reveals no faults. The car will be sold with a 12-month CarJager mechanical breakdown warranty.
