This particular example was completed at the Dearborn, Michigan works on July 11, 1964 and was originally dispatched to Louisville, Kentucky. It was just acquired from a long term owner of 15 years in the dry state of Texas who said that it was previously part of a private collection for 30 years. Today it presents wonderfully with the convertible top, seats, dash and side glass appearing original while a mere 67,584 miles are present on the odometer. The date code correct 289ci V8 210hp V8 engine is still in place and this first production year Mustang is extremely well equipped example equipped with air conditioning, power brakes, power steering, Cruise-O-Matic transmission, Rally-Pac tach & clock, styled steel wheels, and AM/FM radio.
