The Legendary Ford GT40 was a high performance sports car and winner of the 24 hours of Le Mans four times in a row, from 1966 to 1969. The car was named the GT (for Grand Touring) with the 40 representing its overall height of 40 inches. Large displacement Ford V8 engines (4.7 L and 7 L) were used, compared with the Ferrari V12 which displaced 3.0 L or 4.0 L.
This is a GT40 Replica based on the legend, and built by GT developments. The car was registered in 1996. The GTD40 is by far the most desirable GT40 Replica on the market and offers incredible value.
This car has the Ford Motorsport 5000cc 350BHP engine and Renault 30 gearbox as most GTD40's have. The car has up-rated suspension, Twin fuel pumps, and of course twin servo brakes. N272 CBD has a wonderful patina and certainly attracts some attention in the ever popular Gulf colour scheme. This particular car is featured in the Snap On calendar. Having
