Estimated Price: £16,000 - £20,000

• First registered on 01/04/1976, this increasingly rare Mk1 Ford Granada 2000 GL is finished in Arizona Gold with a Brown Vinyl roof and matching brown interior. The GL (Grand Luxe) trim was highly regarded for introducing upscale executive elements without the top-tier Ghia price tag
• Powered by Ford's 2.0-litre four-cylinder 'Pinto' engine coupled to a four-speed manual gearbox, it represents a distinctive example of Ford's mid-tier executive saloon of the 1970s
• Indicating just 14,549 miles at the time of cataloguing and accompanied by a collection of historic MOT Certificates spanning the period from 1985 to 2000, providing valuable supporting evidence of its remarkably low recorded mileage
• With just three former registered keepers and four years of current ownership, the Granada is accompanied by an interesting history file containing period paperwork, including a July 1976 purchase invoice identifying the car as a Granada GL 2000 Manual, together with subsequent invoices and historic MOT Certificates.
• The accompanying photographs illustrate previous bodywork refurbishment, including preparation for refinishing. The car retains its distinctive period appearance, complemented by chrome detailing, alloy wheels and a brown interior with cloth and vinyl upholstery, matching door cards and period fittings
• The Mk1 Granada has become an increasingly uncommon sight on British roads, particularly in 2.0 GL specification. With its exceptionally low indicated mileage, supporting history, distinctive 1970s colour combination and manual gearbox, this example represents an appealing opportunity for enthusiasts of Ford's classic executive models
