This Ford Fiesta first series was a special edition only produced in 1983, mainly for the British and Italian markets, with only about 4,000 units, of which only half were left-hand drive.

This is in the optional original Imperial Red Metallic colour with tobacco interior and the sportier 950 cc ‘high compression’ 45 hp engine.

The limited series mainly included: sports decal stickers on the side panel, 5-inch grooved sports wheels with red rings and black hubcaps with 155/70/13 sports tyres; internally adjustable driver's mirror; halogen headlights; heated rear window; rear wiper with washer; central rear reverse light and fog light; petrol cap with key; centre console also equipped with a Quartz clock.

The bodywork is very solid and the car virtually had only one owner with original mileage of 100,000 km, it was always kept in the city of Ancona and retains its beautiful black number plates with orange province.

The paintwork is still fully original both inside in all compartments and outside, where it has some imperfections and minor damage from normal use and marks from road use, however it is shiny and was
just professionally polished. It has no traces of significant accidents in sheet metal.

The underbody is solid and original with minor signs of normal use and is usable as is, any future restoration is at the discretion of the new owner.

The engine runs smoothly and sounds great, a new battery was just installed and the car needs a normal service to be used.

The interior in the luxurious ‘Bristol’ and ‘Sandford’ fabric and vinyl combination with headrests and carpeting is in completely original and excellent condition. The rare vinyl and fabric combination is specific to the Quartz series and virtually impossible to find, as well as the original door panels in beautiful condition, the headlining and the dashboard with the original Ford double keys.

This car has remained unused since the last technical inspection (expired in 2017), in which it had covered 91,800 km. Normal maintenance is required before road use, especially a rear brake check. The car runs smoothly and can be driven on private roads.
