The story of this beautiful RS 2000 starts in Germany where the car was delivered in 1978. In 2007, the Escort was sold to Finland and was driven by an enthusiast and only when it was nice weather. It is the second series with a spotless and beautiful brown cloth Recaro interior. The car has fortunately always remained very original and is in a condition that is nowadays almost impossible to find. And of this type RS 2000 we currently have two pieces of ..? Yes that’s right. That does not seem so exclusive, but it is. The fact is that we have been surrounded for four decades by car friends who know what we like to offer and inform us when they something special come accross. And this RS was one of themd found its way to our showroom, just like its other white 1977 brother.

Despite the good treatment, at some point the age of the car could be seen here and there, and the Finnish owner decided to renew the paint completely. The technique was also made up to date, whereby the engine was checked and new piston rings and bearings were installed. The gearbox was also inspected and fitted with new bearings and seals. The brake discs, brake pads, seals, etc. were also completely renewed.

After this technical and bodywork renovation, the car has only driven 1000 km and arrived at us through a well-known Escort specialist. We can of course keep a hymn about how good the RS is and how nice it runs, and so on. But would it not be much nicer to invite you and experience it for yourself? Yes right? So you are very welcome.
