1956 kam der erste von Dante Giacosa konstruierte Fiat 600 Multipla auf den Markt, ein viertüriger Sechssitzer, dessen Front verlängert und vergrößert worden war.

Er war einer der ersten PKW in Frontlenkerbauweise.

Neben der Ausführung als Sechssitzer gab es einen kleinen Campingbus, mit dem vier bis fünf Personen befördert werden konnten, sowie eine spezielle Taxivariante.

Die Carrozzeria Savio stellte von 1965 bis 1975 den Fiat 600 Savio Jungla her ? ein kleines, offenes Spaßauto, das insgesamt in etwa 3200 Exemplaren entstand.

Dieses 600 Multipla gehörte seit 2017 zu einer großen sowie gepflegten Privatsammlung. Alle Fahrzeuge des älteren Herren wurden in geschlossenen Räumen gelagert und regelmäßig bewegt. Aufgrund seines Alters hat er beschlossen, sich von diesem Fahrzeug zu trennen. Wunderbar erhalten, wartet dieses Kleinbus auf seinen neuen Besitzer.

The Multipla was developed by Fiat, with the main objective of being able to transport six people. It took many elements from the Fiat 600 such as the running gear and mechanical components, as well as drawing on other models in the range. The engine layout and the removal of the front storage space gave this very small car an unexpectedly roomy interior. It was in fact the first monospace, or minispace (!) in history, and as often happens in Italy, the design of this simple vehicle hit the right note and became a cult car.

The car that we are offering is from 1963, and has the advantage of being a Tipo 100 D from the first series. Thus it has a more powerful and flexible 767cc engine, developing nearly 30 HP, whilst the doors are still the suicide types. This particular example is in an absolutely incredible state. It has been comprehensively restored for a well-known Milan-based collector by a specialist of the Multipla, without any time constraints, nor any cost limits. The two-tone blue and white interior in faux leatherette is absolutely new.

The car drives nicely and the bodywork is in an impeccable condition.
