"The Fiat 500 is a rear-engined, four-seat, small city car that was manufactured and marketed from 1957. Some 50 years later, Fiat previewed an all-new four-seat three-door hatchback 500 model in March 2007. The design of the 2007 Fiat 500 is based on the 2004 Trepiúno concept car. The new model features distinctive retro styling - following the pattern of the Volkswagen Beetle and BMW Mini - as modern reinterpretation of Dante Giacosa’s 1957 original Fiat 500. Production started in mid-2007 in Fiat facilities in Tychy, Poland. Numerous trim equipment and performance versions are offered with a convertible body style available starting in 2009.Originally registered on 30th November 2011, this is no ordinary Fiat 500. Firstly, the Abarth specification with its 1368cc turbo charged engine offers brisk performance, this is matched to sport suspension and a sports exhaust offering an evocative sound. However, this car has had some extensive and sensible improvements made by the specialist craftsman at Auto Audio in London. This includes a bespoke interior with the top of the dashboard and doors trimmed in faux Ostrich leather. Black Alcantara is in plentiful supply with the seat centres, door cards and some parts of the dash trimmed in Alcantara, heated seats have also been added. The carpets including the boot trim have been finished in diamond stitched quilted Alcantara. An impressive Pioneer stereo and Satellite Navigation system has also been fitted. Taking into account this is a well-appointed car to start with including an electric hood and electric windows, this unique Abarth is sure to create interest. It is supplied with a V5C registration document together with a full years’ MoT test certificate, the original service books and a collection of invoices. The service history confirms this Fiat has been well cared for by its two owners. Offered for sale without reserve.
