This classic car is for sale on Catawiki. To have more information or to place a bid click on the "BID NOW" button. .The car offered in this lot is a wonderful Fiat 500 D from 1965, always belonged to the same person who sold it a few years ago to its second owner.

The body was slightly restored, as it was already preserved in very good condition. The restoration dates back to 2020, the underbody is excellent as well as the interior. The seat padding and fabrics were revised and replaced with exactly those of the time.

Great care was taken in keeping almost all of its original parts, not replacing them with poorly made modern spare parts but preserving the original piece, even if in some parts it is a bit worn but without serious damage, preserving its historicity.

The fabric of the hood was replaced, drums and shoes were redone and all the tyres were replaced by whitewall tyres with vintage design.
The engine was disassembled, all its external parts were powder coated with a semi-gloss black paint as per the guidelines of the FIAT factory in 1965, the bolts were re-galvanised but kept original. The clutch was replaced as well as the timing chain, spark plugs and rear shock absorbers.
The car has just been inspected.

Like all Fiat 500 D cars, the hardtop can be removed and replaced with the complete soft top that starts from the engine and goes up to the windscreen.

There are many vintage documents such as all use and maintenance booklets, certificates of ownership and the original purchase contract; the keys are also original as well as the number plates and the booklets of the car.

The colour is the original one that was offered by Fiat; matching numbers.
