This Fiat 500 D Giardiniera was delivered new in Italy and still retains its beautiful black vintage number plates with booklet-type registration certificate. It is a ‘Fiat’ version and is the equivalent of the Fiat 500 D in a ‘Station Wagon’ version. They can be recognised by the beautiful round ivory dashboard and ivory steering wheel, the long chrome front grille, the chrome rear grilles and many other details.

The car was restored in 2018-2020 with much work carried out including: complete repainting, new interior and panels in the original ochre colour, new mats, new soft top and frame, new tyres, new bumpers, brake and electric overhaul with new battery and restored headlights.

ASI registered in the Italian historical registered with certificate. The car is very solid, still with the original sheet metal, in very good condition, the doors and bonnet open and close perfectly.

Mechanically, the car passed its technical inspection in May 2021 and is valid until 2023 after the mechanical restoration. The car drives well on the road, brakes are in working order, the steering is solid and the nice engine sounds pleasant and smooth. However, the car is a direct purchase from the previous owner and some normal maintenance may be needed in the future, at the discretion of the new owner.

The new interior, including the soft top, is very nice and provides a nice contrasting colour to the exterior paintwork; the underbody is very original and in nice condition, it is in usable condition and any future improvements are at the discretion of the new owner
