Description
VIN No. 083844
Engine Type: 110.000
Registered in Macerata in 1959, the car still has its original number plates and logbook. In 1959, the Fiat 500 range was composed of the “Transformable” version, which had the ‘Economica’ layout with the foldable fabric roof down to the engine bay, and the “Sunroof” version, like the example offered, which takes the layout of the ‘Normale’ and the half sunroof of the Sport.
Light green colour with classic cream-coloured rims, restored several years ago and used very little; bodywork still in excellent condition. The interior only needs some minor work and professional cleaning.
Mechanically complete, but has stayed in a dry place for ten years. In need of a general inspection to get it on the road again. No valid MOT.
An iconic and hugely fascinating car, a symbol of Italy’s post-war economic revival, a first series that has become extremely rare to find.
The car must be collected from Turin.
