Description

- Registered in Savona in 1959, sold by the Fiat branch in Turin and Ghia S.p.a. to the first owner, a merchant from Savona. Splendid and iconic first series, it has the number plates of the Province of Turin in 1964, and the logbook was renewed in 1984. There is an extract of the chronological information on the first sale and price.
- Light blue in colour, it was bought by the current owner in 2001, who used it during seaside holidays for the first few years and then put it under sheet covering in the garage until today.
- It underwent restoration about twenty years ago and is still in very good condition and conserves all the specific details of the model, such as the well-preserved wicker seats.
- Mechanically complete but has been stationary for at least fifteen years. No revision is in progress. A general overall check of the engine and braking system is required before being used again.
- The 500 Ghia Jolly on an N base is the spiaggina (beach) car par excellence, the most famous and probably the most beautiful and stylistically successful. Added to the specific details of the first series such as the air intakes underneath the headlamps and teardrop-shaped arrows combined with shaped bumpers and characteristic wicker seats, were specially designed to allow the lucky owners to jump in straight from the beach with bathing costumes still wet and run to the next party on the beaches of the C ocirc te d #39 Azur. A must-have item for all lovers of the Dolce Vita.
