Based on a shortened chassis (yes, that’s possible even on a Fiat 500!) of the legendary Fiat 500L a mere 300 Baldi frogs were produced. The buyer had a choice of three engines: the 125 ccm engine (used in the Lambretta scooter), the 500ccm engine from the Fiat 500L and the 595ccm engine used in the Fiat 500R. This Baldi is powered by the engine from the Fiat 500L delivering a healthy 18HP. The cute microcar with its folding roof was first registered in Catanzaro, Italy, on the 30th May 1975. After a total of five Italian owners the Baldi was imported into Switzerland in 2017. The car was presumably restored once in Italy and presents itself in good to very good condition. With considerable effort and after a lot of clarifications the cute little Italian finally received its veteran MOT in June 2021.
