Description
Chassis no. 100481
Engine no. 114B000*056822 A one-off car, built by the historic Turin-based firm Carrozzeria Savio from a design by Giovanni Michelotti. It is one of the last examples of the “Stile Transatlantico” that shaped Italian and American design history.
Sole survivor of a series of four prototypes, each different, created by Carrozzeria Savio on the basis of the Fiat 2300 and Fiat 2300 S.
Always been an Italian-registered car, produced in 1963 and first registered in 1964.
It still wears the original black, square license plates dated November 1964. The sale of the vehicle was signed by Alfredo Caracciolo, Giuseppe Savio’s son-in-law, who ran the Turin body shop at the time. Four owners from new.
Still equipped with its original engine.
Color scheme is the original "Blu pastello" (pastel blue) over light blue cloth interiors.
Full professional restoration, completed in 2017. The interiors were restored to match a sample recovered from the vehicle’s interior. Original roof lining.
All the accessories are original as well as the chrome parts that are still the original ones and have undergone conservative restoration.
It has a 2.3-liter six-cylinder 117 HP engine with a single twin-choke carburetor. It has disc brakes all around.
